Job Description SummaryStrategic Finance business partner with authority to make policy decisions covering multiple areas of finance for the USCAN Region.Job Description Participate as a key member of the USCAN business leadership team. Partner with business leader and staff to define finance strategy, drive operating performance & act as champion on all finance activities. Lead and direct, coach and develop a team of Finance Managers and Analysts active in/for the business/region. Ownership for developing estimates, operating plans/forecasts/reviews, Blueprint (3-year Plan), SII (1-year Plan). Driving profitable growth by providing analysis of results and reporting key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions. Overall responsibility for all internal finance processes, commercial deal architecture, provide operational rigor on cash management, lead opportunities on price and price change Finance liaison for all Business Development & Acquisition, Integration and Divesting activities. Manage all reporting and statutory requirements - internal to business, within GE and externally.Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of financial work experience; or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 10+ years Corporate Audit Staff experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.Desired Characteristics Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas Leadership experience: has minimum of five years experience leading team members Excellent communication and influencing skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing Technology skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros) You must be willing to travel a minimum of 30% of the time You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows Experience leading in a matrixed environment Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six SigmaGE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
