Description We are actively looking for a meticulous and innovative Data Analyst. This role is well-suited for those eager to be at the forefront of the decision-making process. You will be working closely with various teams to collect, analyze, and interpret relevant data, providing insights that will be instrumental in guiding actions and strategies.Responsibilities:
Must be based in the Chicagoland area.
Collecting pertinent data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases and data systems.
Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Working alongside the management team to establish relevant business needs and strategical objectives.
Developing and implementing data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
Evaluating statistical methods, data sources, sampling techniques, and data analysis plans to ensure viability.
Presenting data-driven insights in a clear and engaging manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Protecting database by establishing precautions for data loss.
Requirements
Must be based in the Chicagoland area.
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics; a Master's degree will be an added advantage.
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or in a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent presentation skills, able to translate complex findings into simple and actionable insights.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
