Devops Engineer with experience in the Banking Industry. This is a 4+ Month’s contract to hire opportunity (with long-term potential) and is located in Chicago, IL Plano, TX. Our client is a leading Financial company.Please review the job description below: Top Skills: Devops, Jenkins, Ansible, GIT, AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Python/Shell, CI/CD, OpenStack, Unix/Linux, Java/.NET Key Responsibilities:- Proficient in Python development as well as multiple design techniques.
- Working proficiency in Python toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks.
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages.
- Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software.
- Intermediate experience with Airflow, Spark, Python
- Very important to have some data staging, lending, migration experience at scale
- Experience with SQL and writing queries is beneficial
- Any public Cloud experience is recommended (AWS – S3, Athena, Lake Formation)
