Email Developer Job Summary:As an Email Developer, you will play a crucial role in crafting and executing email campaigns that engage, inform, and delight our audience. Your responsibilities will include designing and coding visually appealing and responsive email templates, ensuring seamless functionality across various email clients. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to the overall success of our marketing and communication strategies.Email Developer Duties and Responsibilities:
Email Template Development: Design and code responsive email templates that align with brand guidelines, ensuring compatibility and optimal display across various email clients and devices.
Campaign Execution: Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective email designs. Implement A/B testing to optimize email performance and engagement.
Coding and HTML Expertise: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML and CSS code for email templates. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to email development.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve rendering issues, broken links, and other potential problems before deployment. Monitor and analyze email deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates to improve future campaigns.
Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing specialists to ensure a cohesive and effective email strategy. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide updates on project timelines.
Email Developer Requirements and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML and CSS with a focus on email development best practices. Experience with responsive design techniques and adapting layouts for various devices. Expert in template scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid Logic)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in email development. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and tools.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in coding, testing, and quality assurance processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve email rendering issues efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving industry trends and stay informed about email marketing best practices. Willingness to learn and apply new technologies to enhance email development processes.
