job detailsjob summary:This role will be centered around serving as the Overall Program Manager for a major initiative to roll out enhancements across our customer-facing digital channels, contact centers tools/technology, and the various tools/technology used by our airport operations teams. This person will be responsible for aligning and informing the business stakeholders, partnering on training and change management efforts, and ensuring that all deliverables, milestones, and benefits are achieved across the full program.location: Chicago, Illinoisjob type: Contractsalary: $76 - 84 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Responsible for management/execution of projects, programs, portfolio management
Manage scope, issues, risks, and critical path activities through partnership with technology/ business teams, and/or vendors
Establish governance, and actively engage stakeholders
Create and manage integrated schedule, budget, constraints, risks, and dependencies
Proactively manage key project activities, resource requirements, and interdependencies
Work with stakeholders across functional areas to develop and support POC/soft launches
Conduct system mapping, perform analysis, and enhance processes as needed
Drive planning in communication and change management (training planning, processes/procedures)
Report out performance of projects/programs in a portfolio to the project team, stakeholders, and leadership
Ensure chosen projects/programs in portfolio are aligned to business priorities, goals and expected ROI
Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in management of programs and portfolio management and some technology experience
Led cross functional projects/programs/portfolio $2M- strong conflict resolution skills
Excellent active listening skills and self-awareness
Highly organized (attention to details)
strong management skills and ability to multi-task competing priorities
strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and adaptable, able to work in ambiguous situations
Ability to conform to shifting demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word
Bachelor's degree
Preferred:
Aviation industry experience
Process/Improvement, and organizational change management experience
PMP
Green Belt / LSS
Exposure to Agile, MS Teams, and Visio
