Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Reprographics Associate (Copy Operator) in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for processing reprographic requests, managing job queues, and performing basic equipment troubleshooting within a large corporate environment. Responsibilities: Efficiently processing black/white and color photocopy requests. Managing and operating production printers and copiers. Operating finishing equipment such as 3-hole drills, binderies, laminators, and cutters in line with job ticket instructions. Checking the quality of documents before, during, and after each production job. Loading copiers with paper and toner as required. Troubleshooting basic equipment problems and making necessary service calls. Communicating effectively with the manager and client on job or deadline issues. Maintaining a keen attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy and quality. Regularly lifting objects up to 50 lbs. Spending the majority of time working in a standing position. Requirements Proficiency in operating printer hardware and other related equipment Ability to perform high-quality photocopying, scanning, and laminating tasks Demonstrated skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to reprographics Familiarity with various types of paper and their appropriate uses in reprographics Experience in managing queues and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely production Knowledge of service call protocols and ability to respond promptly to such calls Understanding of the hiring processes, as applicable within the role Strong attention to detail to maintain quality in all tasks performed Ability to work efficiently, demonstrating an understanding of time management principles Familiarity with banking operations, as related to the role Knowledge of various perks and benefits, to be able to inform and guide clients or colleagues Ability to work in a production-oriented environment, meeting all set targets and deadlines.
