Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project or process component. Expected to work under minimal supervision.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform, manage and appropriately document work activities relating to IT service portfolios or products in support of our business partners. Lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements. Assist others in planning and prioritizing work and work schedule.
Assist in creation of documentation for products and services. Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards as defined within the Management Model
Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders
Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel. Provide performance and development feedback as required
Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years experience in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Proficiency with data analysis in Microsoft Excel
Experience leading small IT projects or sub-teams and knowledge of IT project management.
Strong problem solving and analysis ability.
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work with remote project teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple development teams and environments. Collaborate with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders to define and prioritize release scope and deliverables. Act as a Scrum Master, leading Agile ceremonies (such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrums, and retrospectives), and coaching team members on Agile best practices. Conduct release readiness reviews, facilitate the resolution of any issues or blockers, and escalate risks when necessary.
Maintain and enhance engagement with Business and IT partners and other stakeholders.
Previous experience as a Release Manager and/or Scrum Master in an Oracle environment.
Proficiency in Oracle technologies, including databases (e.g., Oracle Database, MySQL) and enterprise applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards).
Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including change management, incident management, and knowledge management modules.
Help other team members learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio
Monitor and track release metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize the release process.
Maintain a deep understanding of Oracle technologies and applications, as well as industry best practices, to guide the release process effectively.
Utilize the ServiceNow platform to track and manage release activities, including change requests, incident management, and knowledge base updates.
Monitor and measure release performance metrics, conduct retrospectives, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills to guide teams through complex release cycles.
