About the Team In Inside Account Management (IAM) we drive DoorDash market share and restaurant revenue growth for our SMB merchants. We prioritize incremental order volume and value at the deepest, incremental level, to gain new levels of success for DoorDash and the restaurant owners who are our partners. Our team leverages products, optimizing options, and experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects to procure long-term growth, for the longevity of our merchants and the DoorDash platform.About the Role You will manage team managers and members of the IAM department. Team managers each have 8-10 Success Managers who own books of business averaging 200 merchants each. These merchants are high-value SMB merchants with whom we are seeking to increase partnership and product portfolio adoption, to create longevity of success on the account. You will spend your ramping period (first 90 days) managing a large team of reps and team leads, to understand the experience of a team manager, and to get to know our ICs and merchants better. Upon being fully ramped, you will share the Sr. Manager responsibilities with peers, including but not limited to completing weekly, department OKR reports, spearheading IAM initiatives and executing against them, and strategizing for department success in current quarter goals. You’ll begin to take on cross-functional liaison duties, speaking to the interests and efforts of IAM with partnering departments seeking outcomes with our merchants. Goal Attainment & Driving Growth: Be responsible for OKR attainment at the department level, uphold and ensure manager adherence to performance standards for rep KPIs. You will support your cohort managers and team leads in hitting goals through various tactics / strategies (joining Mx meetings, coaching, prioritizing, etc.)

People Leader & Strategist: You serve as a voice for your team in challenging org wide conversations. You act as the DRI for C/M-suite escalations, coordinating action with managers and SPMs then providing updates to leadership. You lead team meetings and cultivate a positive environment for your team. You

Project Management: You lead or delegate/ oversee IAM-wide initiatives (e.g., product or people topics) that impact the entire organization. You build a robust cross-functional network that you can lean on. You engage through comments and follow up on any action items on other regions for any initiatives you oversee.

Expertise & Experience: You have a Business Degree and/or PMP Certification. You have at least 2 years’ minimum experience leading post sales or account management teams, bonus if you’ve managed managers.

Skills: Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, with a demonstrated history in GTM strategies and initiative creation and execution.
