We are looking for an experienced and friendly server to join our family-owned Italian restaurant. We are currently hiring part-time and full-time positions for servers, waitresses, and waiters.
Job Requirements:
Must be available on weekends- no exception
Must meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
Must have excellent customer service skills and etiquette
Must have the ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
Must have Illinois Food Handlers Certification
Must have Illinois Food Allergen Certification
Must have Illinois BASSET Certification
Must show up to work promptly
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver amazing hospitality experience to guests both over the phone and in-person.
Understand the restaurant menu fully and be able to answer guests' questions.
Understand the restaurant seating layout and be able to seat people efficiently.
Understand how to work the POS system- including but not limited to order input, taking payment, splitting checks, and order customizations
Get along well with others and be a team player
