Chicago’s Home of Chicken & Waffles, located at 543 Madison Street in Oak Park, is looking for an experienced Sous Chef. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a team that is working to expand across the U.S. With 2 locations in the Chicagoland area, and a new location in Nashville, we are looking for team members who want to grow with us.
The ideal candidates will be passionate, organized, hard working and self motivated and must possess a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional, while also having great communication skills.
Key Qualifications Include:
-Minimum of 2 years previous experience working in a leadership role in a professional kitchen
-Strong knife skills
-Working knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards
-Great work ethic
-Previous experience with ordering and scheduling
-Must possess the ability to work well in a fast paced kitchen
-Open availability a must
$24 to $27 per hr, based strictly upon experience and previous verifiable work history.
