A Manufacturer of Standard and Custom-Designed Steel Drums seeking (3) Skilled Maintenance Technician with 2+years of experiences working as a Maintenance Technician with the experiences of maintaining, repairing, mechanical and electrical issues.

PAY RATE RANGE PENDING ON SKILL SETS AND EXPERIENCES: 21.00 UP TO 30.00
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist in the completion of the day-to-day maintenance activities, involving the maintenance of the company equipment and machinery including presses, forming equipment, paint booths and ovens.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and takes corrective action.
Performs all work with a sense of urgency, maximizes equipment downtime by performing any and all maintenance
required.
Performs all work with attention to details, returning all equipment to production in better condition than received.
Clean work area and machine prior to returning equipment back to production.
Tries out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime.
Perform all assigned tasks with a high degree of safety. Follow LOTO procedures at all times, obtain all necessary
permits, i.e. confined space, hot work, etc
Perform preventive maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, reports findings to the supervisor and
take appropriate action.
Examines detects and analyzes spoilage causes and where possible, takes corrective action.
Notifies maintenance manager or team lead of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken, and of
qualify problems or supplies needed.
REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Demonstrated high degree of industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical aptitude and repair abilities.
Excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Maintains a clean and clear work area at all times, keeps tools and supplies organized and helps keep the maintenance
shop clean and clutter-free.
Ability to manage/prioritize multiple complicated priorities/tasks on a daily basis.
Exhibits strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to interact professionally with all types of mechanical contractors and vendors while representing the highest
standards set by the company.
Ability to speak conversational English and read/write elementary level English at a minimum
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
H.S. Diploma/GED REQUIRED
Vocational/Technical Training Certification PREFERRED.
ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Working conditions as found in a typical industrial manufacturing/production environment.
Individuals will regularly need to stand for the entire shift.
Individuals will regularly need to sit, walk, lift or exert force up to 50Lbs., work near moving mechanical parts, reach,
stretch, twist, crouch, stoop, and squat.
Maybe required to use a computer keyboard; regularly required will speaking, hearing, seeing (with correction),
including peripheral vision and color discrimination.
Employees are required to wear company provided personal protective equipment such as safety goggles and hearing
protection.
