IMS Buhrke-Olson, a leading precision metal stamping and assembly manufacturer with facilities in the U.S. and Mexico is looking for experienced Tool & Die Makers to join the team at its Arlington Heights, IL location.
We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced, team-focused environments.
Responsibilities:
Maintain & repair progressive stamping dies
Diagnose die performance issues with Toolroom Supervisors
Collaborate to develop tooling solutions
Support production, quality, and engineering teams
Assist in tool startups, tryouts, and PPAPs
Integrate mechanical/electronic systems into tooling
Qualifications:
HS Diploma required; GD&T, SPC, blueprint reading preferred
5+ years in metal stamping die maintenance/building
Skilled with Toolroom equipment & close-tolerance machining
Proficient in English (verbal & written)
Basic computer skills; AutoCAD required
Must supply personal tools
