Java Developer w/ Risk Integration Testing

Long term Contract: 12-18 months

Location: Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX OR Jersey City, NJ (hybrid)

The world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization is looking for a Senior Java Developer with experience in Risk Framework Testing and Integrating testing to join their dynamic team!

TOP SKILLS:
  • 60% Java Development, 40% Testing (automation, regression and integration)
  • Some knowledge of clearing, settlement and finance is ideal
  • Spring, JDBC, unit testing, muli-threading

    • WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
  • Work on assigned tasks within Risk Framework Integration Testing (RFIT) team
  • Develop and leverage test automation tools (regression, integration, and functional test frameworks) to provide a quicker time to market for delivery of project solutions.
  • Help development teams within Renaissance risk for building functional and regression test cases conforming to automated test
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient application programming solution to drive automated & efficient testing of Ren Risk applications.
  • Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of developed solution for RFIT team.

    • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • The ability to communicate Business and IT solutions independently as well as in an Agile team structure.
  • Ability to think 'Out of the Box' through Business Analysis and IT Solutions
  • A strong discipline and fundamental understanding of how to follow established policy and procedures. A fundamental understanding of Financial Risk and Risk based Systems.
  • Develop good understanding of business or function within Renaissance risk area to drive optimal design and implementations.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of multi-threaded, highly distributed and concurrent systems Must be well-versed on quantitative models and interactions with related systems
  • Must have experience with data analytics to effectively analyze and solve complex business issues Must be competent in all phases of application development and implementation
  • Requires good communication, analytical, sound judgment and problem-solving skill
  • High level of proficiency in Java with extensive experience in multi-threading, collections, high performance programming.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
