Tricon Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of preventive maintenance experience (oil, fuel, transmission, hydraulic, air filters)
2+ years of suspension and brake repair experience (air bags, springs, brake chambers, air brakes)
2+ years of electrical diagnostics and repair
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Proficient with maintenance software and diagnostic systems
5+ years of diesel engine overhaul and rebuild experience (International, Cummins, Detroit, Ford)
Ability to create complete parts lists for major overhauls
Strong independent troubleshooting skills
Experience with precision measuring tools, oxygen/acetylene equipment, and shop lifting devices
Ability to lift up to 110 lbs with proper equipment and/or assistance
Must supply own tools
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
