HVAC Installer / Helper (Chicagoland Area)
Currently seeking an HVAC installer with a minimum of 3 years experience in sheet metal.
The scope of work includes the installation of a Sheet Metal Air Distribution System, with branches and sleeve insulation for multiple residential systems. Installation of complete residential, and commercial systems.
90% new construction,( 70% St.Charles,Lakewood,Crystal Lake,Batavia,etc-west side 30% Lake Forest,Lake Bluff,Wilmette,Glencoe,etc-North east)
Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials used to perform an installation on Heating Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units.
Complete knowledge of reading blueprints
Furnace & AC installation
Knowledge and experience with boilers are a plus.
Must have own basic tools (for starting own car) and a valid driver's license.
Job requirements:
Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to do physical work and lift items up to 50lbs-70Ibs if necessary.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach, and climb.
Ability to work on ladders and scissor lifts in elevations up to 20 ft.
Ability to work Saturdays when necessary.
HVAC knowledge/experience and Certifications are a plus.
It can start immediately.
Pay varies based on experience & amp; performance; be well compensated for your efforts.
Helper with no experience:
We offer on-the-job training, tool allowance, and uniforms. No experience is necessary.
Must have own transport (for start own car) and a valid driver's license.
Starting at $17/hour. Pay increases to $19/hour after 4 weeks.
You have all HVAC hand tools with Cordless Combo Kit (18 volt-3x battery, hammer drill/driver, SAWZALL reciprocating saw, circular saw, hex impact driver,800-2000-Lumen LED work Light) Extra $2/hour
