Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Carpenters with Stick Framing experience for an immediate start in Morris, IL!
WEEKLY PAY!
PAY: $28-$34/hour (based upon experience)
HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 4:00pm
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3-4 weeks with more work to follow if good!
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Residential Carpenter to join our team. This position involves hands-on work in residential construction, including framing, siding, window installation, and deck building. The ideal candidate has proven carpentry experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on a variety of residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform residential framing and structural carpentry work
Install siding, windows, and doors with precision
Construct and repair decks and other exterior features
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and timely completion of work
Follow all site safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential carpentry, including framing, siding, windows, and decks
Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, and techniques
Ability to read and follow construction drawings and layouts
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding
Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses
