Front End Developer

Description We are in search of a proficient Front End Developer to become a part of our manufacturing team located in Darien, Illinois. This Front End Developer role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you'll be primarily tasked with the development of a new platform and handling a significant amount of data transition from data warehouses. You'll be collaborating closely with another developer during this process.Responsibilities: Engage in the development of a new platform, ensuring its efficient and effective operation. Handle the transition of substantial amounts of data from various data warehouses, ensuring data integrity and security. Utilize your skills in Azure SQL Database, Python, and React to optimize platform performance and user experience. Collaborate with another developer, sharing knowledge and problem-solving to achieve project goals. Use React.js and React Native for front end development, ensuring a seamless and responsive user interface. Leverage Azure for cloud computing services, contributing to the platform's scalability and reliability. Apply your Python programming skills to automate processes, enhance platform functionality, and improve overall system efficiency.Requirements Proficiency in Azure SQL Database, with a track record of developing and optimizing databases in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding and practical experience with Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient code. Significant experience with React, including the ability to develop and implement user interface components. Familiarity with React.js and its core principles, including past experience in handling complex visual elements. Expertise in React Native, with a demonstrated ability to develop mobile applications that are both functional and visually appealing. An understanding of the manufacturing industry, with the ability to tailor software solutions to meet industry-specific needs. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing innovative ideas and solutions. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing user-friendly solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
