job detailsWe are seeking a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team located in Decatur, Georgia. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer accounts in the medical industry, processing claims, and reconciling customer receipts. This person must be customer service oriented, detailed in performing their job functions in accounts receivables with insurance companies and self-pays, and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks daily. This role offers a temp to hire employment opportunity. This is a M-F 8am-5pm position!salary: $17 - $19 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities
Analyze and process medical claims and denials
Conduct regular account reconciliations
Manage appeals process for customer accounts
Maintain accurate customer records and process customer credit applications
Utilize accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable
Conduct check processing and manage cash activity
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Insurance follow up and denials/appeals
Explanation of medical benefits to customers and addressing their inquiries
Maintenance and organization of medical records and patient information
