Temporary assignment with opportunity to go full time/direct hire after 6 months!

We are looking to hire a temporary

legal administrative assistant with exceptional administrative and research skills to support Instant Brand’sChief Legal/HR Officer.This isa great opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Legal Administrative Assistant who is looking to grow their legal careerin a fast-paced environment with a growing company. This position will also support the Chief Financial Officer with general administrative activities.

What will you do?

  • Manage tasks given byChief Legal OfficerandChief Financial Officer
  • Ensure efficient and effective administrative information and assistance.
  • Perform accurate legal research and analysis.
  • Interpret laws,rulingsand regulations in legal documents.
  • Compile, proofread and revise drafts of legal documents and reports.
  • Daily record keeping with electronic and hard copy filing of documents.
  • Obtain relevant information from other organizations or agencies.
  • Prepare and format legal and management reports.
  • Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.
  • Review and proofread all work to ensure that it is error-free, professional work-product.
  • Maintain, record and file legal documentation.
  • Prepare and timely dispatch certified mailings and emails.
  • Track and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Drafting and filing Annual Reports, memoranda, resolutions, corporate governance documents.
  • Drafting legal correspondence and email communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’sdegree or relevant experience
  • Certification as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred.
  • Demonstrated experiencein a legal environment.
  • Analytical thinker with detailed research proficiencies.
  • Ability to grasp and interpret legal documents.
  • Systematic knowledge of databases and tracking systems.
  • Exceptionalorganizational skills anddetail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Proficiency withMicrosoft Office
  • Proficiency with SAP a plus
  • Thisis afull-timenon-exempt position that is eligible for overtime
