Baler Operator - Day Shift

RRD is looking for an energetic, and highly motivated team member for the Elk Grove Village facility.Shift:  7AM - 7PM / rotating every 8 weeksTend machines that shred and/or compresses and binds paper by-products generated from the print manufacturing process to facilitate disposition of the waste materialsThread tie bands around bale and twists or clamps ends of bands to tighten bandsOpens compression chamber doors and removes bale from machineTruck bales to storage location using air lifts, pallet jacks or hoist trucksComplete daily forklift condition reportWeight the bales and keep records of the gross weight, materials grade of the balesPerform routine maintenance on the baling machinery and remove obstructions in the cyclone as neededMay load bales on trucks, rail cars for disposal and complete shipping manifestMay photograph container and seal for verification purposesShare your expertise and help train other employees as assignedOther duties as assigned
