CNC Programmer

It is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as the company may deem necessaryUse inspection tools to troubleshoot any machining issuesIdentify tooling/machines for all programming steps of a precision machined component Independently write programs for milling/turning machines using MasterCAM Use simulation to verify programs and macros Draw and modify prints/ 3-D models using CAD/CAM Understand and utilize simple statistical charts like X-bar Use Excel to develop reports, transform data, create graphs, use advanced features such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables Assist with process improvement tools, such as DOE Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed Performs other duties as assigned by managerPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Ability to walk/stand for long periods of timeWork EnvironmentSome of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to highProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerFollowing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required but not limited to: safety glasses, gloves, steel toe shoes/boots, earplugs,
