Associate Buyer

The Associate Buyer will directly support the purchasing function for our MATI division. In this role, you’ll assist with all aspects of the sourcing and purchasing function. As a valuable buying team member, you will help drive the import/export shipping processes, including vendor selection, order processing, and shipment reconciliation. You’ll also work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Demand Planning, and Customer Service while ensuring timely delivery of our high-quality products.  Pay Range $55,450 - $66,550Principle ResponsibilitiesParticipate in evaluating and selecting potential vendors by analyzing submitted quotes and stated capabilities.Study market trends and facilitate introductory conversations with potential vendors to narrow the search.Establish and maintain a Materials Master in SAP.Prepare and place purchase orders within the current vendor network.Review shipping processes and associated paperwork. Reconcile discrepancies with internal and external partners to create accurate shipping notifications.Maintain pertinent departmental records and files. Generate routine reports for leadership review.Assume special assignments as required.
