PURPOSEWith guidance and/or training from Senior Operator or Manager provide an effective, reliable productionenvironment through an understanding of business needs, established policies, procedures and service levels.Communicate issues and problems to management, vendors and customers both technical and non-technical.WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:Accountable and Reports to: System Support ManagerPRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:-Ensure store orders are scheduled, received and processed accurately in accordance with a definedschedule-Monitor jobs and troubleshoot delays to eliminate any downtime for the DC selection shifts-Communicate professionally in a proactive manner in support our Retail partners-Operate multiple systems and peripheral equipment in accordance with operations instructions-Follow standard operating procedures to troubleshoot and resolve problems, to include peripheralhardware, OS, applications, and software-Investigate, resolve, or escalate problems encountered during the shift with guidance from theSupervisor-In accordance with the progression of position, increase knowledge and technical expertise ondepartment relevant Technology, System & Application tool sets, and increase ability to monitor andmaintain system and application performance to meet established business service levels acrossassigned domains by utilizing these tools-Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program-Assist Senior Operator or Manager in training of new computer operators-Working experience in operator functions-Assist Senior System Support Operator and Manager as directedSECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS: (These are considered occasional in nature)-Monitor individual store orders as required-Work on special projects as requestedSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB: (Physical demands outlined on attached PAR sheet)-Possess good written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated abilityto work in geographically dispersed teams-Ability to manage competing priorities-Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications-Logical thought process and ability to learn new systems, concepts, and procedures-Must be available to work off hours or shifts as required for 24/7/365 support6651Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
