Do you have a passion for helping animals in need? Do you make work a priority? TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter is currently hiring for reliable part-time kennel attendants. The primary responsibility of kennel attendants is heavy shelter cleaning including cleaning animal feces in dog and cat kennels. It is an extremely fast paced and labor intensive position. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, able to handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. Must be available for work beginning at 7:00 a.m. , have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, be able to walk dogs in all weather extremes, lift at least 50 pounds, and be able to be on your feet for an 8 hour shift. Week-ends and holidays are required. Apply in person at 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, Illinois during business hours : Tuesday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.; Saturday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. , and Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
