Front End Developer

  • $65 / $75 HR (1.5X overtime 85 C2C 1099)

Opportunity OverviewHospitality company is currently seeking a Front End Developer for a 6 month contract 100% remote opportunity based in the Chicago area.

Requirements for the Front End Developer

• Experience working with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS. 1 or more JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.• Understanding of source control management systems such as Git. Experience in Java/ J2EE development, micro services design and development using Spring, Spring Boot• Experience with Angular CLI 7/8, Typescript 3/4, NodeJS 12.5• Experience in developing REST APIs• Experience with JBOSS, Weblogic, Tomcat

Responsibilities of the Front End Developer• Implement guest facing user experiences using a mix of front end technologies based in JavaScript and CSS.• Work with UX team to implement responsive designs that follow a "mobile-first" methodology.• Adhere to coding standards to write code that is understandable by everyone on the team.• Write unit tests that emphasize "quality" over "line coverage".• Communicate with other developers both on your team and other teams throughout the organization.• Visual "eye" for breaking down a "comp" into its individual UI components in order to articulate the implementation details when requested.#LI-Remote #PCIT #IT
