The Supply Chain Planner for Panduit, based out our Tinely Park, IL HQ, is responsible for providing direct assistance to internal customers on various Supply Chain related topics. The Supply Chain Planner collaborates in a global cross functional atmosphere while working with Global Planning, Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Shipping Operations, and Theatre Supply Chain counterparts to achieve inventory optimization, scheduling and planning efficiencies, meet customer expectations, and support supply chain improvement initiatives. Performs data analysis for demand and / or supply planning, various projects and initiatives that require information gathering to support internal KPI’s. Perform analysis on reports to identify improvement opportunities and work with peers to implement solutions. Use Oracle, Excel, Demantra, and other web-based applications to perform prescribed work.Responsible for system setting optimization to drive and achieve results linked to KPI’s.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain; operations management; business or related field or related experience
Certificate(s): APICS certified (American Production Inventory Certification Society) a plus. Completed certification within 18 months year of accepting position.
1 – 3 years’ experience in inventory management or relevant experience in supply chain function or academic experience
Experience in finished good and non-finished good scheduling/planning processes and procedures
ERP supply planning software experience preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP; JDA Demand; JDA Fulfillment; E3 and/or AWR)
Multi-site inventory management experience is a plus.
Strong proficiency in use of Excel; advanced knowledge of Excel and/or Access is a plus.
Experience with forecasting systems is a strong plus.
