Small growing masonry company looking for a reliable masonry laborer to help with stone, brick, and block projects in 2026. We mainly do residential stone veneer, brick and block work, and light commercial work in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Jobs are typically within about 60 miles of 61038 including Rockford, Belvidere, Beloit, Janesville and surrounding areas.
Type of Work:
Mixing mortar
Carrying stone, brick, block, and other materials
Setting up and tearing down scaffolding
Jobsite cleanup
Helping masons with layout, cuts, and details
What We Are Looking For:
2 plus years construction or masonry experience required
Able to lift 60 to 80 pounds repeatedly
Not afraid of working outside in different weather
Can be on time every day
Takes directions well and wants to learn more
Drivers license and reliable transportation
Pay:
Pay range is 22 to 30 dollars per hour depending on experience and what you can do
Paid weekly
Opportunity for raises as you learn and prove yourself
Schedule:
Mostly Monday through Friday, some Saturdays if needed
Work volume will grow through the 2026 season as we build the crew
