The Strategic Business Development Manager (SBDM) is responsible for establishing and executing plans to monitor and manage growth for key and strategic house accounts.  The SBDM is also responsible for maintaining the intelligence of key regional markets/industries, competitive landscape and customer outreach with Marketing.    The SBDM evaluates, supports and/or assists with preparation of bids and proposals for new business opportunities with key accounts. The SBDM will consistently act in the best interest of Eurofins Environment Testing America and exhibit professional behavior and performance with both internal and external clients. Eurofins Environment Testing America and the SBDM are committed to grow the business through a Client First culture that will provide exemplary client service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The primary duties of the SBDM are to work closely with Account Executives (AEs), Regional Account Managers (RAM), Business Unit Managers (BUMas), and the Executive Sales Director to monitor, retain and grow key strategic accounts for the Region.Responsible for maintaining the intelligence of the regional markets, industries, the competitive landscape and the marketing outreach to all key customers for the Region.    Evaluates, supports and/or assists with the preparation of bids and proposals for new business opportunities with key accountsAssist in project start up meetings to ensure project objectives are successfully met.Provide general sales support for business development activities.Work closely with management on pricing strategies and price trend analysis for the region.Responsible for monitoring pending pricing and quotes and will drive follow-up with the sales team and clients.Facilitate client conflict resolution when requiredWork in conjunction with marketing and senior management with marketing campaigns, webinars and direct mail.Will participate and be a part of all training and development activities to support customer base and sales teams in region.Work on national account rollout and follow-up campaignsWill take on special projects as assigned by senior management.
