Join us and together we will drive the future of health care .This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve at one of America's leading health benefits companies and a Fortune Top 50 Company.Underwriting Policy Director (PEO)This is an office based position with preferred location: Any available office within CA, CO, CT, GA, IN, KY, ME, MO, NV, NH, NY, OH, VA, or WI.Open to any office for the most qualified applicantThe Underwriting Policy Director is responsible for the development of enterprise-wide underwriting policy for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) business.Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Establishes consistent business practices and guidelines for PEO risk evaluation.

Acts as liaison between national PEO customers and state sales and underwriting teams to balance local business and profitability objectives.

Collaborates with local sales and underwriting teams to monitor and control multiple distribution channels in order to avoid local broker abrasion and block cannibalization.

Responsible for the underwriting phase of the new product development cycle.

Creates guidelines and work flow processes for the information technology infrastructure in support of underwriting end users.

Works with Segment team PEO resources to develop and implement membership and profitability growth strategy.

May also be required to provide case specific underwriting, pricing and risk evaluation for existing or new PEOs.

Qualifications:

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 7 years of experience related to large group medical underwriting with exposure to dental, life and disability products, and the full array of funding options including PEO or AHP underwriting; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

MBA preferred.

Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience preferred.

Proficient in MS excel required.
