Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Technical Accountant. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding our assets. You will be expected to leverage your understanding of accounting principles and practices to build accurate financial statements that comply with established requirements and policies.Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and standard financial reports and statements in compliance with established requirements and policies. Establish and maintain accounting policies and fiscal controls to safeguard the organization's assets. Contribute to the optimization of financial applications by suggesting and implementing new setups and modifications to existing ones. Review and generate standard accounting report packages to facilitate financial analysis and decision making. Handle basic accounting duties to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Maintain comprehensive accounting and financial records and reports to provide a clear picture of the organization's financial health. Address basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel. Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required to support the accounting function.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Principles to ensure accurate and ethical financial practices. Ability to Review and maintain Financial Records, ensuring their accuracy and compliance. Experience in performing Ad Hoc Financial analysis for optimization and process improvement. Proficient in the preparation of Financial Statements and Reports, presenting clear and accurate financial information. Knowledge of Fiscal policies to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. Ability to liaise with Appropriate Personnel, promoting effective communication and collaboration. Experience under Direct Supervision, demonstrating a capacity for leadership and team management. Proficiency in various Accounting Functions, showing a comprehensive understanding of the field. Skills in policy formulation and implementation to uphold organizational standards and practices.
