Description We are searching for a skilled Payroll Lead to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, including tax audits, file importation, and error resolution. The individual in this position will be working with advanced Excel and Ceridian-Dayforce. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Lead the payroll processing team and coordinate all payroll-related activities. Ensure the completion of audits in a timely and efficient manner. Implement strong focus on tax auditing and manage all related tasks. Utilize Ceridian-Dayforce and advanced Excel for various payroll procedures. Oversee the full cycle of payroll processing, ensuring checklists are ready for review and files are balanced after loading. Resolve errors in the payroll system swiftly and efficiently. Collaborate with the team to address and resolve issues as they arise. Manage the final steps of payroll processing, including final funding and execution. Handle payroll for both salaried and hourly non-crew employees, as well as crew members. Utilize a range of payroll systems including UKG and multi-state payroll for large employee groups.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll supervisor or manager role within the airline industry Proficiency in using Ceridian for payroll processing Solid understanding of Full Cycle Payroll processes Experience managing Multi-state Payroll Familiarity with Payroll Tax Returns and Payroll Tax Reporting Ability to manage payroll for over 500 employees Excellent knowledge of Payroll Taxes Strong communication and leadership skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
