Duration: 36 Months Contract

Location: East Chicago, IN (100% onsite role)

Role Description: The

Adabas/Natural Mainframe Consultant must have at least 6+ years of experience. In this role, you will provide support in the Primary area. These functions will include support for various critical 24/7 manufacturing systems including 80" Lineup system, Production recording, Caster Planning and Scheduling, Slab Tracking and shipping, Slab Applications, Manufacturing Order handling, Standards Management, and Architecture Framework. Job functions include problem investigation, analysis, design, testing, problem solving, programming and malfunction support (including off hours). These functions will follow the change management process.

Required Skills: 3 or more years of experience with Adabas/Natural - on mainframe and/or windows platform. Experience with mainframe legacy tools - MVS, CICS, JCL. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong debugging skills. Experience in full SDLC. Plus, experience with SQL, Win Server OS, C, C#, and vb.net and Steel experience is a bonus.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.
