Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity in Greendale, Indiana for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.Responsibilities: Facilitate the recording and posting of bank deposits and cash to sub-ledger of accounts receivable as part of daily cash management tasks Engage in the collection and monitoring of accounts receivable by leveraging communication channels such as phone calls, emails, and mail to reach out to customers Uphold the integrity of accounts receivable records by ensuring that aging is current, collections and credits are applied, unresolvable amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous variances are resolved Provide support to other team members in the accounting and finance department, as well as the customer service team and salespersons Utilize skills in accounts receivable and billing functions to process customer transactions and maintain accurate records Leverage skills in cash management and B2B collections to monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Use Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Excel to efficiently manage tasks and maintain records Demonstrate proficiency in managing aging reports and other relevant documentation Exhibit the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role Proven knowledge and application of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures Proficiency in managing Billing Functions Demonstrable experience in Cash Management Experience with B2B collections is essential Ability to generate and interpret Aging Reports Familiarity with Dynamics NAV software is a plus Proficient use of Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
