Position Title: Carrier Development Specialist
Days and Shift Information: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (with flexibility as needed to support carrier and customer needs)Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Carrier Development Manager and operations team to expand and strengthen TA Services’ carrier network.Analyze market trends and carrier performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.Lead initiatives to convert spot-market carriers into long-term contractual partners.Partner with sales and operations teams to align carrier strategies with customer requirements and service goals.Build and maintain long-term partnerships across all modes—including truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, expedited, and air freight—to support TA Services’ objectives of meaningful relationships, competitive rates, and risk mitigation.Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a professional office setting with frequent collaboration across departments. Occasional travel to carrier or customer sites may be required. The position requires consistent communication, data analysis, and relationship management with both internal teams and external partners.
