Pricing Analyst - ADV

Description We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. As part of this role, your primary focus will be on analyzing competitor pricing and market expectations to establish optimal pricing for our products. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and plays a crucial role in growing our residential heating and air conditioning business.Responsibilities: Analyze competitor pricing and market expectations to determine the ideal target price for our products Work closely with the pricing department and internal stakeholders to analyze and then price special job requests from external customers Use your strong attention to detail and data analysis skills to solve problems and make informed decisions Accurately price quotes based on equipment matchups, competitive data, and market pricing levels Administer new quotes and make changes to existing quotes as necessary Work independently with minimal oversight, while also supporting pricing team members as a back-up when needed Communicate effectively with management, sales, and the pricing department, both verbally and in writing Utilize your intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables, to quickly learn and navigate database systems and protocols Apply your skills in business, finance, statistics, or a related field to maximize revenue and grow our business. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel including the use of Pivot Table and VLOOKUP functions Strong background in Sales and Account Management with an ability to manage both internal and external customers Solid understanding of Finance principles and Pricing strategies aimed to maximize revenue Proven ability in Data Analysis and interpretation of complex financial data Experience in providing Workstation Support to various stakeholders Familiarity with different Specification and Protocols in managing a Database System Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks and provide comprehensive Explanation as required Knowledge in Statistics and its application in the pricing domain Experience in the Residential sector, particularly in Heating systems, is a plus Ability to handle Request For Quotation and prepare accurate Price Quotes Proficiency in utilizing different tools for Progress tracking and Oversight of tasks Willingness to work Onsite as required by the job Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
