We own and operate a successful urban farm in downtown Indianapolis supplying several farm-to-table restaurants with locally grown produce.
We are looking for a farming partner to bring on board in our operation. Frankly, we would like some more free time and are willing to share the profits of the farm with someone who wants to work during the growing seasons.
You: Be responsible, mature, hard working and available in the mornings during the warmer months. Experience in growing produce is great but not a requirement.
Flaky people or unable to people unable follow through on commitments need not apply.
Farming is fairly labor intensive so being physically capable of performing the job would be important.
Most of the farming work is between the months of March to November. There is little that happens at the farm during November through February. If you are unable to work 3-4 mornings a week during the working months then there is no need to apply.
