Job Description

This position is responsible for executing daily support of shipments from suppliers manufacturing operations and home delivery agents to customers. The focus is on meeting customer delivery expectations while ensuring cost effective transportation solutions through cross functional collaboration.

We are open to an individual working remotely within 2 hours of our Jasper, Indiana Corporate office. Ideally, you would reside in the Evansville, Jasper, Indianapolis, or Louisville, KY area.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure all truckload shipments have assigned carriers
  • Perform all tactical home delivery functions: issue resolution order management and agent changes
  • Maintain effective communication between manufacturing operations customer service home delivery agents and carriers
  • Resolve time critical transportation and delivery issues utilizing cost effective methods
  • Identify recurring issues investigate root causes and drive actions to resolution
  • Cross training in other positions within the department
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule which may require evening and weekend availability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain Business or related field strongly preferred
  • Lean/ Six Sigma training and/or certification preferred
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook Excel PowerPoint etc.)
