Join our team and help us protect what matters most.Schedule: 6:45 AM to 7PM or 7PM to 6:45PMPay: $23.54 per hourSUMMARY:The Production Operator will ensure the production of high quality residential roofing materials through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of manufacturing processes to include machine operation, quality verification, packaging, housekeeping, and forklift operation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Responsible for safe operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and forklifts, and production and/or shipment of quality products.Record and document all required data on the computer and/or in written formFollow all safety, operational, maintenance, and housekeeping policies and procedures for the plant and your assigned department.Complete product testing and inspections in accordance with product and quality specifications and alert supervisor to variations in the production process at all times.Perform other duties related to plant operations as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or GED is required.WE VALUE AND WOULD LIKE TO SEE:Experience in manufacturing concepts and safety practices and procedures is preferred but not requiredA positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and a willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS:To perform the essential functions of this role, you must be able to:Stand for long periods of timeClimb ladders and stairs and use catwalksBend at the knees and waistRegularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs.
