Position Title:Postdoc Research AssociateAppointment Type:Post Doc/TraineeJob Description:Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University seeks a Postdoc Research Associate to develop sustainable technologies to enhance the value of renewable resources and waste streams. The postdoctoral scholar will assist the Principal Investigator in managing laboratory operations, supervising students, and coordinating various research projects. Additionally, the role requires writing technical reports and publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to advancements in mechanical engineering and sustainability. Two fixed term positions are available, one with anticipated appointment of six months and one with anticipated initial appointment of one year.
