At Collins Aerospace, you’ll be not only be advancing your career, you’ll be leaving your mark on the future of advanced technologies.Role OverviewAs a Specialist, Accounting and Controllership within the General Accounting General Ledger team, this project-based role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and communications skills to develop new processes and procedures to support a variety of projects.Primary Job Responsibilities:
Facilitate implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842 - Leases)
Perform the accounting and control activities associated with inter-company loans and holding companies.
Routinely work in multiple accounting and consolidation systems including SAP, JD Edwards, and Hyperion.
Perform the accounting associated with the monthly UTC Treasury Netting Cycle.
Facilitate SAP go-lives for heritage B/E Aerospace companies currently on JD Edwards, including testing and implementation.
A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Strong interpersonal and team work

Strong organizational and time management
Communication both oral and written
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other appropriate discipline
General Understanding of Collins Aerospace Accounting processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP and HFM Experience
CPA or MBA
