Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee all aspects of payroll processing with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, managing employee data, resolving payroll discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.Responsibilities:Process payroll accurately and timely for all employeesCalculate wages, deductions, and overtime accuratelyManage and maintain employee payroll recordsProcess and reconcile payroll taxes and deductionsPrepare and distribute payroll reports as neededRespond to employee inquiries regarding payroll mattersStay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirementsCollaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee dataAssist with payroll audits and year-end processesProvide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiriesRequirements Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredProven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar roleStrong understanding of payroll processing and regulationsProficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationKnowledge of labor laws and regulationsCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
