AECOM is currently seeking talented Civil Engineer with experience in either site, roadway, municipal or airports.  Also a background in lighting/signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation / protection, and pavement rehabilitation) to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Developing civil airfield design,  municipal projects, site design and construction improvement documentsCoordinating with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projectsPerforming civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service AirportsPlan, direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitationWill be involved with projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration, including grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plansCollaborating and/or coordinating delivery teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and techniciansAutoCAD or MicroStation 3D modeling mentoringSupervise, coordinated, and production of several projects concurrently.Establishes positive client relationshipsCoordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit AgenciesIncludes regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States
