Eurofins maintains an uncompromising commitment to quality and client service.Position Summary:To review audit scheme requirements and provide assistance in meeting those requirements and oversee witness audits and provide technical expertise for microbiology, assist in keep the documentation up to date and provide advice and input into audit disputes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accreditation/qualification, knowledge, and understanding of federal and state laws as they pertain to food safety and various schemes’ requirements including, but not limited to, BRC, GFCP, FSSC 22000, SQF, and FAMI-QS.  Conduct and implement all components of the audit process including but not limited to scheduling, planning, travel arrangements, execution, corrective action management, and client follow up.Subject to conducting witness interviews and being witnessed, surveillance audits, and supervision reviews by accreditation officers and other members of Eurofins, as needed.Maintain accredited auditor status and achieve additional categories and scheme accreditations, as requested.Maintain applicable professional development and training required for audit proficiencyMaintain confidentiality and impartiality in all aspects of work and adhere to all procedures established by Eurofins and its auditing clients.Understand and practice Eurofins quality manual, policy, procedures, and SOPs.Ensure timeliness, consistency, and accuracy in all audits and audit reports, meet or exceed 3rd party auditor and scheme KPIsAttend annual informational meeting and monthly calibration meetingsConduct technical reviews of accredited audits, as requestedEssential Duties: Applies good practices in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerAdvise on complex issues and make business decisionsLead and participate in Staff Meetings
