Maintain a safe work environment.
Perform maintenance tasks assigned to the various trades departments
Perform work to prevent premature deterioration of buildings and equipment.
Work in cooperation with in-house departments and approved contractors
Perform emergency work when required after hours
Participate in all safety trainings as directed.
Perform duties as assigned as a member of the maintenance team.
Assist in providing the necessary safeguards to prevent loss of school property
Use equipment including but not limited to:
a. Vehicles and trailers
b. Hand and power tools of the maintenance trades
c. Light duty maintenance care of equipment
d. Typical nonspecialized construction and repair tools
Other duties as assigned
