Duties and Responsibilities Apply in-depth knowledge of Chapter 90 and 540 CMR regulations and RMV standards. Conduct audits for hearings including but not limited to hearing preparation, conduct of hearings and the hearing decisions. Serve as a resource for internal and external departments to research and resolve inquiries. Responsible for preparing and maintaining a variety of reports, correspondence, itineraries, forms, schedules, etc. relating to audits. Research laws, regulations, policy, and standards to ensure compliance. Draft comprehensive and complete report of audit area. Create memos, charts, schedules, graphs, or similar visual aids to prepare summaries, and analyzes. Applicants must have at least (A) four years of full-time or equivalent part-time, professional experience in legal work, claims adjudication or regulatory administration, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below. Substitutions I. A Bachelor’s or higher degree with a major in law may be substituted for a maximum of three years of the required experience. II. A Bachelor’s or higher degree with a major other than in law may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required experience. Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed. NOTE: Educational substitutions will only be permitted for a maximum of three years of the required experience.
