First Step at Lake View offers alcohol and drug treatment designed to meet the unique needs of women, pregnant women, and women with dependent children. Treatment interventions include: non-medical detox, short term residential treatment, intensive outpatient services with or without supportive housing, outpatient counseling and primary healthcare collaboration. A licensed child care, parenting, case management and mental health services are integrated into the holistic treatment program. FT Technician Supervisor
Position Overview:
Supervises full and part time staff who provide a safe, supportive environment in a residential substance abuse treatment program for women and children
Schedules CDT staff and arranges for and/or provides coverage when needed
Monitors and directs client activity and addresses and reports any issues to Clinical Coordinator
Participates in all phases of supervising CDT staff including hiring, monitoring work performance, reporting issues, and training staff
Ensures staff is properly trained in trauma informed care
Actively engages with clients and ensures chemical dependency tech staff does as well
Responsible for the implementation of agency and program policies
Maintains documentation required to meet all licensure, funding source, and agency requirements
Requirements:
High school degree or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Requires some evenings and weekends as scheduled and determined by need
Must have a basic understanding of the treatment model utilized
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
