Floor Inspector

JOB SUMMARY:Perform entry level QA duties related to the quality function regarding product testing.Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: Include the following. Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.Must have a quality orientation, attention to detail, ability to work within a team, take direction from supervisory personnel, be able to take constructive criticism, and work toward continuous improvement.Reads and interprets documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to inspect parts, after multiple stages in manufacturing, to precision tolerance and company specifications.Utilizes a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection of parts.Performs, when required, Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and acts in accordance with data output.Meets and maintains productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.
