We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst, Securities Industries Services (SIS) to join our Architecture & Innovation Team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the securities industry, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.Key Responsibilities:Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for securities services projects.

Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.

Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications and requirements.

Process Improvement:

Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.

Develop and document new processes and workflows, ensuring they align with industry best practices.

Work with stakeholders to implement and monitor process changes.

Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and development teams.

Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues that arise.

Solution Design and Validation:

Work closely with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements and align with overall business strategy.

Participate in the development and testing of new systems, applications, and features.

Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure they meet the defined requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and user guides.

Develop and deliver regular reports on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant parties.

Training and Support:

Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.

Provide ongoing support to business units and end-users, addressing any questions or issues that arise.

Act as a subject matter expert for securities services systems and processes.

Qualifications:Industry Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of the securities industry, including trading, settlement, custody, and regulatory requirements.

Familiarity with industry standards and protocols such as FIX, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business requirements.

Proficiency in data analysis and modeling techniques.

Technical Proficiency:

Experience with business analysis tools and methodologies.

Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL is a plus.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Educational Background:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
