Job DescriptionAbout the role:Provide direct proposal response support to the Local Government GBU Sales Organization in support of our Public Safety Suite for law enforcement agencies. Management, production, and delivery of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals intended to win and generate new revenue for Oracle. Review completed proposal for responsiveness and compliance.What you will do:As a Business Proposal Rep within Local Government Global Industry Unit (LGGIU), you will be the authority responsible for delivering complete, compelling, and compliant proposals for our Public Safety Suite products to prospective law enforcement agencies. As a team member of the Sales Operations Team and RFP manager, you can expect to implement the processes and systems associated with the planning, development, and production of written responses to formal, driven solicitations from Oracle clients and prospects. You will track wins/losses and provide data on trends. You will be the focal point in coordinating with the Sales Team, Subject Matter Experts, Deal Management, and various lines of business.Career Level - IC4Responsibilities

Working on proposals responses for law enforcement agencies

Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information handling requirements

Excellent communication and a strong cross-functional leader with exceptional project management skills

Resourceful, proactive, and able to exercise sound judgment

Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously

A self-starter able to proactively engage with various partners and personnel across the company

Able to work in a team environment as well as independently

Thorough and able to handle multiple processes

Flexible, and have a team-oriented attitude are interested in other areas of Operations

Qvidian a plus

What you’ve done:

5+ years of experience in working with State and Local governments proposal responses for law enforcement agencies

5+ years of experience is the full life cycle of proposal activities and handles workflow from multiple teams, planning, coordination, review, proposal development, and submission

5+ years of experience developing, maintaining and updating the project history database and RFP content library from start to finish

5+ years of experience with business development and sales team to drive sales and develop winning strategies

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
