The Dental Lab Technician will be responsible for the fabrication of quality prosthetic denture products in accordance with established protocols and specifications.  This includes reading prescriptions or specifications and examining models or impressions to determine the design of dental products to be constructed.  Testing appliances for conformance to specifications and accuracy of occlusion, using articulators and micrometers.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to use various tools and equipment in a lab environment:  trimmers, grinders, lathes, articulators and cleaning devicesTake impressions and pour modelsComplete denture set-up and finishing workCollaborate with dentist and other members of the dental team to ensure a proper fit and function of the prostheticUse a software to digitally design denture casesHandle and maintain 3D printer materials and equipmentPost-processing (cleaning) and finishing of dental appliancesFabricate crowns and bridgesManufacture fixed or removable appliancesKeep the lab orderly and stockedComplete documentation of actions by filling out forms, reports, logs, and records
